Hotel Moxy Düsseldorf South

Hotel Moxy is a 3-star hotel with 159 rooms. The hotel is built in an area with high earthquake sensitivity. Huge water pipes run under the building to provide a number of companies in the area behind with water. All this results in a construction that is heavily reinforced. Due to the high quality of the construction, the raw concrete works in the rooms and public areas have been delivered as final visible work.

Sonate Tower Bolero

Sonate Bolero is a residential tower in The Hague's city centre. Due to the limited building space available, constructing the high-rise building posed unique challenges. RED optimised the structure of the tower by merging the façades into the structure of the superstructure during the tunnel process – a first in the industry. This method allowed the building to be constructed without the need for scaffolding. Thanks to the use of a special concrete pump we were able to build the superstructure with maximum efficiency.

Overhoeks - Block J&K

For the Overhoeks urban development in Amsterdam Noord we realised two apartment complexes, Overhoeks Blocks J&K. Block J is a 28-metre building with 84 apartments, and Block K a 25-metre building with 77 apartments. Special 30-meter-long tunnel formwork were designed to improve speed and efficiency. Thanks to our expertise, tunnel formwork could be used to cast the slabs for Block K's organically shaped floors.
